Science Teacher - South East Worcestershire - September
Academics are recruiting on behalf of a 'Good' Ofsted rated Secondary School in South East Worcestershire. They are seeking a full time Science Teacher from September, for the whole academic year until July 2021.
They need a forward thinking teacher to teach their high-quality Science curriculum to KS3-GCSE pupils (Biology to A Level is advantageous but not essential). They need a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who can plan, resource and deliver engaging lessons and you will be expected to mark and assess work to ensure pupil progression is being made.
The planning you are encouraged to create should provide the foundations for understanding the world, through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics. All pupils are taught essential aspects of the knowledge, methods, processes and uses of science. Through building up a body of key foundational knowledge and concepts, pupils are encouraged to recognise the power of rational explanation and develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena. They are encouraged to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes.
Please apply today for this exciting new role! You must hold QTS and be available to start from September for this wonderful full time long term positon.
For an informal discussion about this role please call Katie today on 01905 896 122 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
