Position: Full-Time Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Manchester

Pay: TBD 

Start Date: As soon as possible

 We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and proactive individuals, who are passionate about supporting children and young people, to work as Full-Time Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team and help us raise aspirations and develop character in our students within a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Work with individual students and small groups to enhance their learning
  • Support students with SEMH, SEN, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management, and health & safety
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of educational resources
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a primary education setting is desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to fostering student growth and well-being
  • A positive attitude and a passion for education
  • An enhanced DBS on the update system (or willing to obtain one)
  • Ability to work effectively within specialist and mainstream school settings
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
