Position: Maths Teacher

Location: NN3, Northampton

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Maths teachers to work join our team to work in one of our client schools in the NN3 area of Northampton to help guide their students into becoming successful learners.

As a Maths teacher, you will need to plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons to the students of all ages and levels across Key stages, 3, 4 and 5. You will also be required to set homework tasks, mark their work and help prepare the students for exams. Ultimately, your lessons and teaching should help equip the students with skills that extend far beyond the classroom

About the school

The school in mind have a department of welcoming and supportive Mathematics specialist who are keen to develop and improve as practitioners to help guide their students. The department is fully equipped with resources and relevant technology, including interactive white boards.

The school is based centrally to Northampton in NN3 so has excellent modes of transport for non-drivers and is easy to get to for those that do drive.

Requirements

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Strong command of mathematical concepts across various levels
  • Exceptional communication skills to make complex ideas accessible to students of all ages
  • A child only enhanced DBS
  • An overseas police clearance (If applicable)
  • Availability Monday-Friday
