Smile Education are recruiting for a qualified Secondary Cover Teacher to support secondary schools across Oldham from September.
This role is ideal for QTS teachers looking for flexible work, day-to-day supply, short-term cover, long-term placements or temp-to-perm opportunities.
Work is available from one to five days per week, depending on your availability.
The Role
As a Secondary Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain positive classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning.
You will work across KS3 and KS4, with schools aiming to place you within your subject specialism where possible.
Requirements

  • QTS is essential.
  • Applicants without QTS will not be considered.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • You must have confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • You should be adaptable, reliable and professional.
  • You must be confident delivering lessons across secondary age groups.
  • You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
