Position: Science Teacher (Qualified)

Pay: £140 - £195 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of scientific discovery. This flexible role offers a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to work across a range of schools in Doncaster, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Prepare and assess students for internal and external examinations.
• Create a stimulating and safe laboratory environment.
• Promote enthusiasm for Science through practical investigations and engaging resources.
• Manage behaviour effectively and foster a positive learning culture.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.

Candidate Requirements

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
✔ Degree in Science or a related subject.
✔ Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
✔ Ability to deliver lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialisms welcome).
✔ Strong classroom management and communication skills.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
