Are you looking for a full-time General Science teacher position in a school based in Bournemouth?

  • Full-time Science teacher, required from September 2022 
  • Temp - Perm
  • Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Must hold subject specific qualifications within science
  • Both experienced and newly qualified science teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£130 - £190 a day)

The successful science teacher will be expected to:

  • Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for science
  • Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning
  • Assess and evaluate class work reporting back to Senior Teachers to take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives
  • Guide pupils who require additional support within a classroom and implement strategies to help manage their learning
  • Be open to covering other subjects in the event of staff sickness

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
