We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and well-resourced specialist setting, teaching students aged 11-16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD and a range of additional learning needs. With smaller class sizes, strong classroom support and access to experienced Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals, you'll have the time and resources to build meaningful relationships and deliver engaging, personalised lessons that make a real impact.
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will inspire pupils to develop a love of Science while adapting your teaching to meet individual learning needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Working closely with colleagues, pastoral staff and external professionals, you will contribute to creating a positive, nurturing learning environment where students feel safe, valued and motivated to succeed.
