Position: Nurture Teaching Assistant.
Location: Preston.
Start date: Monday 15th April 2024.
Contract type: Full time, Monday-Thursday, 8:30-3:30 & 8:30 – 2:30 on a Friday.
Pay rate: £12.82 - £13.50 per hour.

A secondary SEMH provision in the Preston area have approached Teaching Personnel and are looking to recruit a Nurture Teaching Assistant. The role would involve working with a small group of Year 7 pupils on a 1:1 basis, and provide direct support with phonics and reading strategies. The pupils are all working below expected academic achievement and therefore need intense additional support.
Requirements to be successful for the role:
This provision for young people aged 11-16 years support students who have individual needs based on social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The breadth of the curriculum alongside extra-curricular activities, therapies and a personalised approach is support by their highly specialist site. They boast a fantastic team of staff who are committed to improving the life chances of young people and with consistent high expectations, they aspire for pupils to flourish and succeed.
