We are working with a large, high-performing secondary school in Bolton seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced teachers to become part of a supportive and ambitious team dedicated to raising attainment and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.


The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Take on a full teaching timetable, including planning, delivery, assessment, and marking.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, working collaboratively within the Maths department.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
  • Support pupils in developing confidence and achievement in Mathematics.

The school is located in Bolton and benefits from excellent transport links:

  • Easily accessible via the M61, M60, and A666, making it ideal for candidates commuting from Bury, Wigan, Chorley, Manchester, and surrounding areas.

Applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • The ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities.
