EYFS Teachers are required to help with a number of short and long term posts in the Scarborough area. Our partnership schools look to us to support them with cover in EYFS classes in Primary Schools not only in Scarborough itself, but in the surrounding areas of North Yorkshire. We are looking for effective EYFS practitioners to lead the early years settings on a day to day basis and deliver on the EYFS framework and curriculum.
The Role
Early Years teachers are required to enthuse and relate to young children with an imaginative and creative approach. You will be confident in implementing EYFS strategies and adaptive resources to allow children to learn and thrive through exploration and engagement under your guidance. EYFS settings are an exciting place to be, with your input it will also be a safe, nurturing and accessible environment for the children to develop.
You will be able to communicate with children in a relatable way. Your written communication will be of a high standard to accurately report your observations on the children’s progress, summarising their attainment and development against relevant EYFS curriculum Standards.
You will be motivated by driving the development of each child, to successfully prepare them for their transition into KS1.

Salary
The rate of pay will depend on experience, but will range between £120 and £170 per day. Term time only.
Working hours
Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)
Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections and parent consultations.

Qualification and Vetting
The successful candidate will be required to show proof of appropriate qualification for the post (UK QTS certification) and ECT’s are welcome to apply. Successful candidates must provide details (when requested) of appropriate referees and consent to being subject to ‘Child Only’ DBS checks as per our vetting procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
