Are you an enthusiastic Upper KS2 teacher looking for a new challenge? We’re supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the Garston (L19) area who are seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join their team from March.

Job Description

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Teach a full Year 5 curriculum, delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons.
• Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ learning in line with school and national expectations.
• Support pupils’ progress across core subjects while developing their confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and senior leaders.
• Foster a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.

You will be:

• A qualified teacher with experience in KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
• Confident in delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Skilled in behaviour management and building positive relationships.
• Organised, proactive and committed to high standards.
• Passionate about supporting children’s academic and personal development.
