Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teacher to work at a middle school in Dorchester. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects to middle school pupils (ages 9-13).
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Provide support to students in line with their individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Ensure effective communication with the school's staff, including lesson planning and feedback on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching middle school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Flexibility to work on both day-to-day and long-term assignments.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one (we can assist with this process).
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team within a school environment.
