About the Role:

  • Teach engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics following the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and experiential learning through practical experiments and theoretical study
  • Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that supports and challenges every student
  • Employ diverse assessment strategies to track progress and guide lesson planning
  • Develop strong partnerships with students, parents, and staff to support overall student development
  • Participate in wider school initiatives such as science fairs, interdisciplinary projects, and enrichment programs

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level (specific year group expertise is advantageous but not required)
  • Reflective and adaptable with strong classroom management skills
  • Dedicated to promoting inclusive education, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
  • Excellent communicator and proactive collaborator within a team
