Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is delighted to be working with an outstanding school in South London who are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their vibrant team.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 and 5.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and fosters a love of learning for the subject.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, encouraging students to develop scientific enquiry skills, practical investigation techniques, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Science (specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics desirable).
• Proven experience of successful teaching and learning in a secondary school setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for Science.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
• An ability to inspire students to question, investigate, and engage with the scientific world.
