Your Role and Responsibilities:

- GCSE Preparation: Provide tailored support to students preparing for their Science GCSEs, including mock exams, targeted interventions, and personalized feedback.
- Student Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and provide constructive, actionable feedback to support their growth.
- Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Science Department to design innovative teaching strategies, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Enrichment Opportunities: Encourage participation in extracurricular Science activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or educational trips to inspire curiosity beyond the classroom.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
- Qualifications and Expertise:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field)
- Experience:
- Proven success teaching the Science curriculum at KS3 and KS4, including preparing students for GCSEs
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students
- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive and focused learning environment
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
