Position: Science Teacher

Location: Welwyn

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Welwyn, who are looking to employ new Teacher of Science on a full time basis. The school are looking to take on a passionate teacher who demonstrates a care for education and allows students to flourish.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for various science subjects, fostering a love for the subject among students.
• Utilize hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and other interactive teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary concepts and enhance the overall science curriculum.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Qualification in Science or experience Teaching the subject
• 2 + Years Teaching Secondary Students
• Strong Classroom Management
• Good Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Ability to Teach Science up to A-level standard
• A child only enhanced DBS (Or prepared to apply for one)
• Full time availability
