Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A relevant degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven experience of teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4. Experience of teaching at Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver exciting and effective lessons. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment: A passion for education and a commitment to the school's ethos of high standards and inclusive learning.
  • Character: Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a dedication to contributing positively to the school community.
