Location: Alternative Provision, Burnley
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (plus one after-school staff meeting per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic and creative science lessons tailored to the needs of our students.
  • Utilize strong behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to remove barriers to learning and promote student success.
  • Participate in one after-school staff meeting per week to contribute to the ongoing development of our provision.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Science Teacher with a genuine passion for working in alternative education.
  • Experience in managing challenging behavior with patience, resilience, and consistency.
  • A commitment to making a meaningful impact on students’ lives by helping them overcome obstacles to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
