Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a motivational Science Teacher for one of our secondary schools in Pocklington School. 

We're looking for someone with QTS with specialism in any of the three subjects, you will be required to teach all three so knowledge in the others is preferred but not necessary. We are considering applicants of all levels from ECT’s to experienced educators.


Our ideal candidates will: 

  • Provide regular, detailed feedback, making sure students know exactly where they need to improve and how to do it
  • Work with pupils from a range of multicultural and ethnic backgrounds, sometimes supporting those whose first language is not English
  • Aim to raise pupil attainment and performance across many ability levels
  • Expereince teaching individuals with SEN Needs and an ability to adapt lesson for an SEN individual is desirable
