Opportunity to work within the Science department of a secondary school, with recently refurbished laboratories.

  • Full-time Science teacher role to start ASAP.
  • Opportunity to work in a secondary school near Oldham.
  • Both newly qualified and experienced Science teachers are urged to apply.
  • Working within a newly refurbished Science department alongside senior members of staff.
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Must have experience teaching Science up to GCSE level alongside QTS.

The selected applicant will be expected to work alongside other members of the Science department in order to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that are suitable for pupils at varying levels of learning ability. The role will also involve monitoring and assessing pupils progress in order to take appropriate action where required to ensure all pupils have the correct support they require.

Our client school is located between Oldham and Manchester and is easily accessible via the M60 and A62 from surrounding areas including Prestwich, Middleton and Ashton-under-Lyne. The school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
