Science Teacher – Enfield, North London

Successful Secondary Mainstream School in the Borough of Enfield is recruiting for a long- term Science Teacher.

Science Teacher to start in September 2021.

• MPS or UPS Science Teacher/ Teacher of Science

• NQT or Experienced Teacher

• September 2021 Start

Due to progression, this long-term contract Science Teacher post has been made available. Pupils who attend are from Secondary up to Sixth Form levels. Teaching at this school is "Good" to "Outstanding" with a supportive Senior Leadership and colleagues.

You will be teaching at a minimum of KS3 & KS4 Science and would be beneficial if you can teach up to KS5. Additionally, you will have a strong STEM background and must be a well-qualified teacher (ie PGCE/ GTP/ SCITT/ Teach First/ QTS) to be considered.

Strong NQT Program and excellent CPD is offered for all teachers.

The successful teacher of Science / Science Teacher must be able to offer the following;

  • Qualified Teacher of Science (GTP/ PGCE / Cert Ed/ Teach First/ SCITT/ QTS)
  • Strong STEM background Able to teach Science at KS3 & KS4 (minimum - Up to KS5 is desirable)
  • Great science teaching experience & knowledge of the UK curriculum Rated either a "Good" or "Outstanding" teacher
  • Must have taught in a Secondary Mainstream School Able to build engaging, creative and informative lessons.
  • Able to commute to the Enfield, North London area
