Role: Science Teacher (all Sciences up to KS4)

Length: 1 term

Pay: Annual pay - £24,373 - £40,490 dependant on experience.

Requirements for this role:

  • A degree (preferably in a Science related subject)
  • QTS - the required applicant must hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • A proven track record in the delivery of all Science subjects, preferably up to GCSE level.

Key aspects of this position are as follows:

  • Delivering the school's curriculum, working with students on both an individual and group basis.
  • Ensuring work is effectively differentiated to ensure students with SEN are able to actively engage with the learning process.
  • Setting tasks that are engaging, and allow students to think on an independant basis.
  • Conducting practical work with pupils, and ensuring that they are aware of relevant pocedure when undertaking such experiments.
  • Providing feedback to other staff, parents and pupils whenever necessary.
  • Identifying pupils who require further support, and being able to offer alternative provision for these students.
