A forward-thinking, high-performing secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Physics Teacher to join its established Science department for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive and aspirational school environment.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Physics teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Physics for a suitably experienced teacher. The school places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, student wellbeing, and professional development.
Deliver engaging, high-impact Physics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
Plan, assess, and track progress to ensure strong student outcomes
Implement adaptive teaching strategies to support SEN, EAL, and higher-attaining students
Provide targeted intervention to support GCSE exam preparation and attainment
Contribute to enrichment activities including STEM clubs, educational visits, and competitions
Holds QTS with experience teaching Physics at secondary level
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
Has excellent classroom management and behaviour for learning strategies
Is organised, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development
