Hours: Part Time - 3 days per week

Contract: Maternity Cover

Outstanding Science Department seeks exceptional Science Teacher for part time maternity cover from September 2021.

The Role:

  • Science Teacher - part time 0.6 FTE
  • KS3 & KS4 Science
  • Science is taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 upwards.
  • All Science Teachers are expected to be able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS4 at a good standard
  • Students follow the AQA syllabus at GCSE and A-Level

  • High standards of teaching and learning / high expectations of staff and students
  • In 2020 GCSE Science results were: GCSE 5+ (9-7) grades was 19% and GCSE 5+ (9-4) grades was 80%
