KS1 Teacher with QTS

A primary school in Lambeth (SW16) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for a contract position in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching KS1 students.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Proficient in using educational technology and resources.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with the school community.
