Salary: £30,980 - £42,545 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
Full Time – Permanent Position

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a Secondary School based in Northampton. The school are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Science to join there SEMH school, with pupils aged 11-16 years to help them strive and succeed in there education.

Candidate

• Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered
• Experience of teaching to secondary class/group
• Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
• Experience within an SEN setting an advantage

The Job

• Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
• Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
• Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely intervention

The school is located in Northampton, is situated off Quarry Park Road. Parking will be available on site.
