About the Role
Smile Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join the Key Stage 1 team at a welcoming and supportive local primary schools across Walsall, Wolverhampton and Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your teaching career in a nurturing environment with excellent mentoring and development opportunities.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to KS1 pupils
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Work closely with colleagues and mentors to develop your teaching practice
- Support the individual needs of pupils to help them reach their potential
You’ll need:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to gain it soon
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Passion for supporting young learners in their early education
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
